Patriarch Kirill: Armenian Apostolic, Russian Orthodox Churches actively participate in Karabakh conflict settlement PanARMENIAN.Net - Thursday, March 18, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill visited Yerevan State University to present his books translated into Armenian.



In YSU, Kirill passed the invitation to interreligious conference in Baku to the Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.



According to the Patriarch, Armenian Apostolic and Russian Orthodox Churches actively participate in Karabakh conflict settlement; with Armenian and Azeri spiritual leaders having discussed the issue during several meetings.



Addressing Armenian Genocide issue, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia emphasized that the counties can't be kept hostage to the past and the memory of Genocide victims must not interfere with the development of relations between the two nations. "Forgiving is always hard. Forgiving does not mean forgetting, but it opens the way forward to the future," Patriarch Kirill stressed.
