"Art School on Intersection" student films festival to be held in YerevanApril 14, 2009 - 18:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - "Art School on Intersections" Transcaucasian student films festival will be held on Apr. 15-17 in Yerevan. The festival was organized by joint efforts of "Internews" NGO Representations of Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan and "Art School on Intersection" project, "Internews" NGO told a PANARMENIAN.NET reporter. The project is sponsored by USAID and "Eurasia-Cooperation" foundation.Each creative group includes students from different countries. The co-authors were required to work jointly on the entire process of creating films. The project involved 72 students from the three countries, and the total number of the films shot is 42. Many participants of the project used the materials of the films for their term papers and graduation papers. Films shot within the framework of the project are broadcast by Armenian, Georgian and Azerbaijani TV channels. ![]() ![]() Ara Aivazian said Azerbaijan continues the traditions of Turkey after seizing territories and forced Armenians out. The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest. She called on others to also suspend their accounts over the companies’ failure to tackle hate speech.
