Charles Aznavour honored with National Order of Quebec

PanARMENIAN.Net - His Eminence, Archbishop Khajag Hagopian, Prelate of the Armenian Prelacy of Canada, upon receiving an invitation from Quebec's Premier, the Honorable Jean Charest, attended a ceremony honoring Charles Aznavour at Montreal's Museum of Fine Arts on April 25, 2009.



The first singer to receive this award, world renowned Aznavour was bestowed with one of the most prestigious honors in Quebec, the National Order of Quebec, from Prime Minister Charest. Mr. Aznavour was also bestowed the National Order of Canada during Quebec's 400th anniversary celebrations this past summer.
