Premiere of Ruben Hakhverdyan's new song "Testament" to be held

PanARMENIAN.Net - "I do not like my songs, I like to perform them. The process of song is extremely tiring. But the performance is quite a different art," the poet and singer Rouben Hakhverdyan told journalists today.

The press conference of the Armenian bard Ruben Hakhverdyan was devoted to the upcoming concert on July 7 in the hall of the Armenia's National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater after Spendiaryan. Besides his favorite songs, Rouben Hakhverdyan will perform a new song named "Testament".

"Today, because of closed borders in the Caucasus, music is undergoing through stagnation. Being isolated we have no idea of what is happening in Georgia or Azerbaijan. In Soviet times, Yerevan's song was an example of excellent Caucasian songs," Ruben Hakhverdyan said.
