  Serge Avedikian awarded RA Culture Ministry’s Gold Medal  July 19, 2010 - 14:06 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - French filmmaker of Armenian descent Serge Avedikian was awarded a Gold Medal of the RA Ministry of Culture at the official closing ceremony of Golden Apricot International Film Festival. The award was handed out by world-known filmmaker Atom Egoyan. Serge Avedikian’s Chienne d'histoire (Barking Island), Cannes Film Festival Short Film Palme d'Or award winner, was featured at the GAIFF closing ceremony.
