The festival will feature 263 films from 45 countries, including Singapore, Japan, China and Turkey. Nairi movie theater, Naregatsi art center as well as Cascade art complex will host animated film screenings. As festival director Vrej Kassouny stated at August 30 news conference, 23 acclaimed guests, including Max Howard, executive and producer at Walt Disney Feature Animation, were invited to participate. “Howard was enthusiastic about our festival, characterizing Armenia as the Silk Road of modern animation,” Kassouny stressed.
