Memorial dedicated to 200th anniversary of Gulistan Treaty may be inaugurated in ArmeniaDecember 28, 2010 - 13:34 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - STIMEX group of companies has suggested inauguration of a memorial dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Treaty of Gulistan, which stipulated joining of Eastern Armenia to the Russian Empire. The project was approved by heads of state. Presently, the initiators are searching an appropriate site for the memorial. The Treaty of Gulistan was signed in October 1813 between the Russian Empire and Persia.
