Five works (by Vardges Surenyants, Grigory Sharbabchyan, Russian painter Vasily Polenov and one work of an unknown painter of the 19th century) from Armenia’s National Art Gallery are also featured at the exhibition, entitled: “Russia and Orientalism.” Organizers of the exhibition note that Martiros Saryan’s unique aesthetics may become a real discovery for art lovers of Holland and Europe, as a whole.
