Kuwaiti specialists may study Arabic manuscripts in Matenadaran

PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 23-26, Days of Armenian Culture were held in Kuwait.

The Armenian delegation participating in the events was led by RA Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan, who also held meetings with Secretary General of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters Bader Al-Refaei and other officials.

Poghosyan offered Arab specialists to visit Matenadaran institute of ancient manuscripts in Yerevan to study 1,500 manuscripts in Arabic kept there.

As part of Days of Armenian Culture, Kuwait hosted an exhibition of Armenian modern art and concert of the State Dance Ensemble of Armenia.

Poghosyan also met with representatives of the Armenian community of Kuwait.
