Lecturer of the State College of Pop and Jazz Art Anahit Mazmanyan told journalists that the Armenian Minister of Culture made a statement on the two colleges’ unification. Levon Sahakyan, a lecturer of the same college, added that the problem is not the management. “An institution with 30-year history can unite with a college established only 6-7 years ago,” he said. The State College of Pop and Jazz Art was established over 30 years ago. Nune Yesayan, Gayane Hovhannisyan, Syuzan Margaryan, Tatevik Hovhannisyan and other representatives of the Armenian pop music are among its graduates.
