In his interview with journalists, commenting the results of the meeting, Oskanian noted illusions for prompt improvement of the Armenian-Turkish relations should not be created.

According to him, «ArmenTel» has concluded contracts with foreign phone operators, according to which the payments for the international phone calls, that are the company's main part of the profit, goes directly to OTE, leaving out «ArmetTel», taxation services and correspondingly the budget of Armenia.

According to him, Turkey's striving for the participation in the negotiation process has to be supported with its readiness to refrain from putting pressure on one of the parties of the negotiation process in order to stir the ambitions of the other.

Speaking on the possibility of the continuation of the trilateral dialog of the Azeri, Armenian and Turkish foreign ministers, Ismail Cem noted, at the meeting in Reykjavik, a useful exchange of views had taken place that might be continued in both trilateral and bilateral formats.
