The European Parliament resolution denouncing Azerbaijan's actions in Nakhichevan, which inspired the Armenian party, does not solve anything, an Armenian political scientist believes.

From the time when the Republic of Armenia became more actively involved in the negotiations, the kinds of proposals which have been tabled are based on principles which can indeed be discussed, Vartan Oskanian said.

"The press office will furnish comments as soon as an official invitation is received," Victor Soghomonyan stated.

The Armenian strategic thought already influences upon both the public opinion and the decision taking by the powers.

The soonest settlement of the conflict with the participation of NKR is Stepanakert's priority task, Georgi Petrosyan stated.

"Yesterday we opened talks on complicated international issues," the Russian President stated.
