For a true Muslim human life has no value
East-West Confrontation, reflected in ethno-cultural and civilization differences, inevitably leads to violence from both sides.
Before looking for an “Islamic track” in terrorist acts around the world (and the Moscow explosions are no exception) it should be noted that by an unfortunate quirk of fate the blame for all terrorist attacks is shifted onto the followers of Islam. The latter are to blame even for those acts which they have not committed. The reason is probably the upsurge of Islamic radicalism, which began in the 70s and has been picking up speed since then.

Declaring jihad the main concern of a true Muslim in the age-old confrontation with the West, Islamists are trying to make half of the world’s population live by medieval laws. And in some countries they succeed, because of the illiteracy and backwardness of the population. A good example of this is Afghanistan. Even Saudi Arabia, the heart of Islam with the holy cities of Mecca and Medina, is a more tolerant country, of course if this term can ever be applied to Islam.

The East-West Confrontation, reflected in ethno-cultural and civilization differences, inevitably leads to violence from both sides. It must be remembered that for a true Muslim human life has no value and it is most important for him to pave his way to heaven and become a shaheed. However, not everyone shares this way of thinking; only the “true believers” who consider Osama bin Laden and his associates to be their mentors. As for Western values, they assign primary importance to human life, believing that it is central, precious and unique. It is for this reason that Islamic radicals organize explosions especially in most crowded places, expecting a wide response to the act of terrorism. After all, these acts pursue a certain aim and are not committed “for love of the game”. Any act, accompanied by violence, usually ends with political demands. However, things are a little complicated with Islamic radicals. There is one more stereotype: it is considered that radicals come from poor families without profession and future. However, neither bin Laden nor the terrorists blowing up the World Trade Center (WTC) can be called uneducated; they all received higher Western education and got training in major Islamic universities like Al-Azhar University in Egypt. It should be noted that such countries as Yemen, Sudan, Somalia, and now also the Caucasus provide recruits for the religious war. The list of countries also includes Egypt, which, after a ban on Islamist groupings and parties, was abandoned by many of the current terrorist leaders. Among them we find Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri, the right-hand man of bin Laden.

Recently female suicide bombers have appeared in radical movement, which is a fairly new phenomenon taking into account that a woman in Islam is considered to be a creature with no rights. It is believed that women are less conspicuous and can detonate a device in a place where a man cannot. However, not everything is so simple. There is one more thing worth attention: the land where a Muslim dies is considered to be Islamic, and for this job even women are suitable. If you follow this logic, then all the places where attacks are perpetrated have to be declared Islamic. This is the main goal of the ideologues of jihad, no matter you like it or not.

As for the explosions in the Moscow subway, Russia, as always, has to too many hypotheses for one or two of them to be working. The first and the regular is the Chechens, the second – the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) is to blame for everything. All other hypotheses are simply variations of these two. Note that they are not talking of the victims, but of what a new terrorist attack may bring to the country: change of power, reinforcement of Putin, or something else?

If the hypothesis on the “Chechen track” is confirmed, it would be a painful blow for Putin and Medvedev, who lifted the regime of anti-terrorist operation in the republic, with jihad spreading wider and wider. The Western society has to face terrorist attacks too, but the enemy of Russia and that of the West is not the same, media outlets say. And though the enemies are not of the same nationality, they profess the same ideology. Perhaps, this is most important. Militant Islam, like the Christianity of earlier years, follows the epistles of Paul the Apostle: “All of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus...”
