PETERSBURG ENTERPRISES TO PARTICIPATE IN RECONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIAN ELECTRIC POWER PLANTS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Mayor of Yerevan Yervand Zakharyan and governor of Saint Petersburg Valentina Matvienko agreed on cooperation between the two cities as well as on constructing House of Armenia in Saint Petersburg and House of Saint Petersburg in Yerevan. The Armenian Diaspora of the North capital stands ready to join the project. The city heads also approved some programs in humanitarian, cultural and telecommunication fields to be launched January 1, 2006. Besides, Petersburg enterprise leaders, who also serve on the delegation, expressed wish to take part in the reconstruction of the Armenian electric power plants. After meeting with the Mayor of Yerevan Valentina Matvienko visited Tsitsernakaberd to lay a wreath to the memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims.
