Financial Ombudsman publishes first reportFebruary 13, 2009 - 18:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's Financial System Ombudsman published his first report on the follow-up of January 2009. The report specified that 7 complaints, one of them in written form, were filed in January. According to legislation, three complaints were not subject to Ombudsman's consideration and other four were not preliminary sent to financial organizations. Financial Ombudsman Office representatives advised that claimants should first address financial organization the claim is filed against and, after that, the Financial Ombudsman. Currently the Ombudsman's Office is controlling the further process of claims and complains filed by clients. The Financial Ombudsman's Office was set up in Armenia in accordance with Legislation on Financial Ombudsman and launched its activities on Jan 24, 2009.
