Armenian industrial giants were prepared for transition to floating rate

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's industrial giants were ready for the transfer to the floating exchange rate policy and were forming their activity programs accordingly, RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan stated.



The country's government support to entrepreneurs providing means for overcoming temporary difficulties. "The preference is given to the companies offering multiple job opportunities, with significant export potential and good market for their production," he stated, adding that the situation room has been set up to consider dozens of business programs and their possible financing.



Commenting on current economic situation, Sargsyan noted that he is rather optimistic about the future, citing statements of WB experts on the positive aspects of Armenian economy, conditioned by effective of macroeconomic policy , low external debt and financial sector stability.
