EBRD-Armenia cooperation important under global crisis

Armenian representation Valeri Razlogov discussed further development programs

On Mar.11 Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with EBRD Regional Manager Michael Davy, the newly appointed Manager of EBRD Armenian representation Valeri Razlogov and EBRD Armenian representation ex-Manager Michael Vainstin. The countries emphasized the high level and effectiveness of collaboration, especially in world financial crisis circumstances. Among collaboration priorities, Tigran Sargsyan indicated small and medium sized business, assistance to private sector and infrastructure development, which is very important for overcoming consequences of financial crisis.

The Prime Minister congratulated Valeri Rozgov on his appointment, expressing confidence that in his new position he will further Armenia's successful collaboration with the European bank.

The prime minister also thanked the ex-manager Michael Vainstein for effective collaboration within previous years and wished him success in his future work.
