Armenia, U.S. discuss trade ties, economic development

PanARMENIAN.Net - Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan met a United States delegation headed by Arun Venkataraman, Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Global Markets on Friday, April 7.

The Ministry reports that the two discussed a wide range of issues related to Armenian-American cooperation in the economic field:

– expansion of economic interaction,

– activation and diversification of mutual trade,

– export of goods to the U.S. through the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP),

– the possibility of providing access to PayPal payment services in Armenia,

– promotion of cooperation of financial structures,

– activities of Armenian unicorn companies in the U.S.,

– the development of green energy, etc.
