According to him, Bamo, one of Russia's leading companies and the main investor of the project, has announced a contest for the best hotel, in cooperation with RA Ministry of Urban Development and Armenian and Russian Unions of Architects.Out of the 43 applications submitted for contest, 27 were considered. Such great number testifies to high interest in the project, Sargsyan said. Contest winner is the architects' groups from Armenian Design Institute headed by Sargis Sardaryan. Project implementation will start after Bamo signs agreement with the winner. Russia allotted land areas to each CIS country for constructing a hotel.
