Sevak Sarukhanyan: higher gas prices, painful subject for all regional countries

Increase in gas rates is a painful subject for all countries in the region. As Sevak Sarukhanyan, Deputy Director of Noravank Scientific and Educational Foundation told a news conference in Yerevan, all countries of the region, importing the gas, are facing price rise.



In his opinion, Armenia buys gas from Russia at half price. Sevak Sarukhanyan sticks to the view, that The rise in gas rates has objective reasons. He did not rule out that increased gas rates could lead to a 10 per cent electricity price rise.
