Income of Ameriabank totaled AMD 1.3bln by end of first half of 2010

PanARMENIAN.Net - CEO of Ameriabank Artak Anesyan said that the bank’s income totaled AMD 1.3bln by the end of the first half of 2010.

Meanwhile, the bank is going to increase its indices, Anesyan told a press conference in Yerevan on July 22.

Specifically, the bank envisages increasing its assets by 16%, liabilities – by 20%, credit investments – by 23%, fixed-term deposits – by 12%, including incomes - by 125%.

Corporate loans make 70% of the bank's credit portfolio, while consumer and mortgage loans total 30% of it.

According to Anesyan, the share of small and medium enterprises in corporate loans makes 35%, and the bank is going to implement new investment programs here at the expense of own and attracted funds. A considerable part of corporate loans falls on the field of renewable energy – 12%, while this figure will reach 20-22% with consideration of programs, which are approved step-by-step, what in its turn will make Ameriabank a leader in crediting the field of renewable energy.

Commenting on the bank's pans, Development Director of Ameriabank CJSC Tigran Jrbashyan said that the bank will open two branches this year – in Yerevan and Gyumri, another branch will be opened in Vanadzor in 2011. “We open branches in those places, where a certain demand for our services is formed, to be closer to clients,” said Jrbashyan.
