Roads bypassing Yerevan to be constructed as part of North-South transport corridor

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan chaired a regular meeting of the Management Council for North-South transport corridor investment program held in the RA government.

Members of the council were briefed on the results of control over construction works of the investment program first tranche, results of competition for purchase of consultative services and results of negotiations with winner companies over signing an agreement as part of preliminary works of the second and third tranches.

Stressing the importance of the government's principles on equal territorial development, the Prime Minister noted that modern principal roads bypassing Yerevan should be constructed as part of North-South transport corridor investment program, the RA government's press service reported.

Besides, Armenian Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan submitted a report on further course of the investment program on stable development of Yerevan city transport.
