  Average monthly salary in Armenia totals AMD 106048 in January-September 2010 October 20, 2010 - 18:42 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The average monthly salary in Armenia totaled AMD 106048 in January-September 2010, increasing by 7,9% compared with the same period in 2009. As National Statistical Service of Armenia reported, 2% increase as compared with August 2010 was observed. The average monthly salary in government-financed organizations grew by 4,2%, reaching AMD 85184. In private enterprises, salary comprised AMD 133382, growing by 9,3%. The unemployment rate decreased by 1,2%, with 82100 people registered as unemployed. 0,6% slump in unemployment rate as compared with August 2010 was observed   Top stories Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”.
