Export and import of products of animal origin to be simplified in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Government has simplified the procedure for certification and filling in relevant documents for import and export of products of animal origin from/to CIS and European countries.

Armenian Minister of Agriculture Gerasim Alaverdyan told a briefing that introduction of amendments to earlier decision of the government provided enterprises with the opportunity to import/export products of animal origin only based on a conclusion of a laboratory expertise – without applying to the Food Safety and Veterinary State Inspection at the RA Ministry of Agriculture.

Besides, the Armenian government recognized the Ministry of Agriculture as an authorized body for fish and seafood import matters.
