Ameriabank credit portfolio may total AMD 90bln by end of 2010![]() October 26, 2010 - 14:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 26, Development Director of Ameriabank CJSC Tigran Jrbashyan said that the bank is going to bring its credit portfolio to AMD 90bln by the end of 2010. The credit portfolio growth will be secured due to a new product to be offered by Ameriabank next week, as it will cause a great interest and will enjoy demand, Jrbashyan told a press conference in Yerevan. The banker added that the bank credit portfolio is balanced enough due to solutions offered by Ameriabank as part of retail banking. “Individuals’ deposits have been growing per quarter for two years, what is an evidence of trust towards the bank,” he said. Tigran Jrbashyan noted that the bank is among the first five banks by the volume of individuals’ deposits – AMD 21bln. According to him, it is a good index, taking into consideration the fact that Ameriabank is corporate client oriented. As for non-performing loans in the bank total credit portfolio, Jrbashyan said that this index is the lowest in the entire banking system, totaling 0.5% against the average index of 4%. ![]() ![]() Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”.
