The Banker: Ameriabank recognized 2010 best bank of Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Banker journal of authoritative Financial Times company awarded 2010 Best Bank in Armenia prize to Ameriabank CJSC.

The number of participants was unprecedented this year, what proves that the Banker’s prize is the highest criterion of estimation of banking activity development in the world, the bank press service reported.

500 organizations applied for participation in the competition.

A range of important criteria was taken into consideration for declaring Ameriabank the winner: development paces, wide range of services, etc.

Besides, attraction and successful placement of $85mln funds form IFC, FMO, DEG and EBRD was taken into consideration.

A certificate and prize in the form of a statuette of Brendan Bracken, the founder and first editor of The Banker journal, as well as head of Financial Times, were awarded to Ameriabank during the ceremony.
