Why eggs disappeared from Yerevan shops?

PanARMENIAN.Net - After December 25, eggs have become an item in short supply and if they appear in shops their retail price is about AMD 70-80.

Prior to the New Year holidays, people just sweep away this product.

Early in December, Head of Lusakert poultry factory Minase Yepremyan assured that prices for his factory’s eggs will not go up by the end of the year, as it usually happens before the New Year holidays.

“I officially state that the prices for eggs will not change,” Yepremyan said, adding that prices for eggs will make AMD 50-60 per one.
