New Agriculture Minister assumes duties

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has introduced newly appointed Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan, who replaced Gerasim Alaverdyan at the post.

“The agricultural sector produced poor results in 2010, what badly damaged the economic indices in all. Fluctuating prices and inflation affected the population’s level of living,” the PM said.

He also emphasized that the Ministry will have to work a lot to implement the essential reforms.
