Cheese production decreased 2.6% in January-November 2010

PanARMENIAN.Net - Cheese production decreased 2.6% in January-November 2010 to total 16 thousand tons, which is 2.6% less than during the same period in 2009.

According to the National Statistical Service, milk and curds production decreased 3.8% and 1.6% respectively (268.6 mln liters and 672.4 tons).

Production of yoghurt, matsoun and sour cream increased 26%, 8.8% and 2.5% respectively (265.6, 2823.2 and 2801.8 tons).

Ice cream production grew 14.8% to total 3274 thousand liters.
