Code of Behavior for employers presented in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Presentation of the Code of Behavior took place in Yerevan on February 3, 2011.

The document aims to prevent forced labor and trafficking, said Arsen Ghazaryan, the chairman of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia.

It was developed by the Union of Employers of Armenia with the assistance of International Labor Organization. Provisions are in line with the Armenian legislation and conventions of the ILO.

“Moral norms for employers are being introduced in western countries, as legal norms are often not enough to regulate activity of companies,” Ghazaryan said.
