Inflation suppression discussed in Tsaghkadzor resort of ArmeniaFebruary 20, 2011 - 16:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan held a meeting with the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) Board and members of the CBA Monetary Committee in Tsaghkadzor resort, Armenia. Inflation peculiarities, basic factors behind inflation, including price trends in global markets and their impacts on local prices were in the focus of the meeting. The parties attached importance to measures aimed at suppressing inflation, including to the role of the monetary policy and its possible impacts. Besides, the parties referred to the current international challenges in the monetary policy, possible ways for improving the policy and possible impacts of these developments on Armenia's economy.
