Weekly digest of foreign currency deals

PanARMENIAN.Net - USD 75,026,949 was bought at an average price of AMD 364.65 /USD 1 and USD 76,584,736 sold at an average price of AMD 365.89 /USD 1 at the Armenian foreign currency market from February 21 to 25, 2011.

Deals amounting to USD 13,658,000 at an average price of AMD 366.40 /USD 1 were concluded at NASDAQ OMX Armenia during the reporting period.

Meanwhile, deals amounting to USD 4,100,000 at an average price of 365.96 /USD 1 were made at the interbank market.

On February 14-20, 2011, AMD loans granted by banks totaled 18.8bln, while USD loans amounted to 28mln, the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia reported.
