Remittances to Armenia totaled USD 326.7mln in Q1 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - Remittances at the amount of $326.7mln were received by physical persons in Armenia in January-March 2011.

According to the CBA monthly bulletin, the figure increased by 24.9% ($65mln) compared to the same period in 2010.

Besides, 16.3% growth was recorded in the amount of remittances from Armenia, totaling $161.2mln in January-March 2011 against $138.6mln during the same period in 2010.

The net cash inflow increased by 34.5% during the reporting period, amounting to $165.6mln against $123.1mln in January-March 2011. The largest amount of remittances was received from Russia ($172mln), followed by Kazakhstan ($3.7mln) and France ($892thous).
