Lyudmila Sargsyan:I want to see Armenian women beautifulMarch 8, 2012 PanARMENIAN.Net - PanARMENIAN.Net organized a series of interviews with well-known female politicians on March 8. They told about the most striking presents they got on March 8, shared their views on women's participation on politics, and congratulated Armenian women with this beautiful holiday. Lyudmila Sargsyan, chairperson of Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHP) congratulates Armenian women. What would you wish Armenian women on this holiday? I'd advise our women to be beautiful, feel important and never quit struggle; combat not against men, not against something, but just not to lose their ability to struggle, to be able to express themselves and feel important. This is what I call fight, and not struggling against anybody. What is the most original and unforgettable March 8 present you got? I can't name the most memorable present (she smiles). Every year I get lots of flowers, small gifts, that's for sure. Parliamentary elections are coming soon. What do you think about the role and participation of Armenian women in politics? I believe all worthy women who take part in the struggle, in politics, who are concerned over the country's future, and managed therefore to express themselves in public movements, will be appreciated and represented in the National Assembly. I wish quality, and not quantity were considered in this.
