Website of TV ARM RU Russian-language TV channel for Diaspora hacked

PanARMENIAN.Net - A part of the content of the official website of the first Armenian Russian-language TV chancel for the Diaspora – TV ARM RU (www.tvarm.ru), has been destroyed as a result of Azerbaijani hackers’ attack.

On July 10, anti-Armenian slogans and insults have appeared on the website, as well as offending letters were sent to e-mail addresses available on the TV channel’s database, the TV channel’s management told PanARMENIAN.Net

“Although TV ARM RU channel has been broadcasting for only three months (since April 1, 2010), the TV channel’s activity has caused certain resonance, drawing Azerbaijanis’ attention,” reads the statement.

Currently, specialists are restoring the erased information. The website’s normal operation will be resumed soon.
