MTS expands the geography of information services

PanARMENIAN.Net - OJSC Mobile TeleSystems (MTS), the leading telecommunications operator in Russia and the CIS, announced the launch of the special program of support to subscribers in roaming in countries, where MTS Group of companies operates.

Now the subscribers of the MTS Group of companies, traveling in Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Belarus, can get full-featured informational service at the call centers and the service centers of the operator in any of these countries. In particular, they can learn the prices of the tariff plans they use, block a SIM-card, find the balance on their account, activate on credit and other services, learn about the opportunities of optimizing their expenses on roaming, and get information on service numbers.

“In the frame of the strategy of building a better subscriber experience we continue to develop the program of providing services to our clients in roaming. When traveling, questions on switching services, their tariffs, recharge opportunities, occur frequently, as do many unexpected situations. In moments like that, getting a proper and timely support is important. When traveling in countries where MTS is represented, our subscribers can get information at the MTS call centers and service centers just like they would in the country where the roaming was activated,” stated Mikhayil Gerchuk, MTS commercial Vice-President.

In the countries where MTS is represented a subscriber can call MTS call center dialing the usual short number – for the subscribers from Russia it is 0890, and for VivaCell-MTS subscribers it is 111.

In the majority of the cases, when visiting MTS service centera, there is no need to fill in any application or special blank –having an ID would be enough.
