Panoramio blocks user ali_600 who posted the picture of Baku square on Yerevan pointer

PanARMENIAN.Net - In response to the address of a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent in reference to the photo of a Baku square with Azerbaijan flag in the center which appeared on Yerevan pointer in Panoramio website, the website administration blocked the user ali_600 who posted the picture.

A picture with profanities in Azerbaijani, its geographic location pointing to Artsakh city of Shushi was also put on the website The link to the website in question was sent from the e-mail of a certain Ali Allahverdiyev. The line Azerbaijani Flag in the Center of Yerevan was indicated as the subject of the message.

Both pictures have been deleted.

Panoramio is a geolocation-oriented photo sharing website. Accepted photos uploaded to the site can be accessed as a layer in Google Earth and Google Maps, with new photos being added at the end of every month. The site's goal is to allow Google Earth users to learn more about a given area by viewing the photos that other users have taken at that place. The website is available in several languages.
