Unibank to launch 8 new branches in 2012

Unibank decided to open eight new branches in 2012 in order to ensure retail business development.

By expanding the branch network, Unibank aims at providing comfortable, rapid and easily accessible banking service to the customers. According to the bank's press service, Unibank branch network comprises 39 branches and a representative office in Moscow.

Two new branches, one in Yerevan downtown and the other in Arabkir administrative district, will start customer servicing in April. The branches will be oriented both at natural persons and legal entities, providing all kinds of banking services: attraction of deposits, retail and business crediting, Unistream money transfers, issue and service of banking cards, cash and settlement service, exchange operations, etc.

In April, Gyumri regional branch is expected to be transferred to a new more comfortable two-storeyed premise designed in Unibank's corporate style.

In 2011 the assets of Unibank exceeded AMD 115.9 billion, liabilities AMD 98.3 billion, and the total capital AMD 17.7 billion, respectively.

According to this index, the Bank is one of top 5 banks in the banking market and is included in the list of 50 biggest taxpayers of Armenia.
