Paper claims discrepancy in official export dataApril 26, 2012 - 11:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Customs Service of Armenia published a detailed statement on April 25 on export in Q1 2012. It said that Armenia exported commodities worth USD 292 mln in the specified period, Haykakan Zhamanak paper reports. “This is a very interesting figure since only 5 days ago Armenia’s State Statistical Service published quite different information on the subject,” the paper says. According to Haykakan Zhamanak, official statistical data indicated export totalling to USD 348 mln in the first quarter of 2012. This means that two governmental departments have 2 variants of the same index, the disparity amounting to USD 56 mln, paper says.
