EUROPEAN BANK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT TO ARRIVE IN YEREVAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - Jean Lemierre, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, will arrive in Armenia on 18 May 2004 to discuss with senior government officials the prospects of cooperation. He is as well to meet with business leaders and heads of the international financial offices based in the country. The EBRD, owned by 60 countries and two intergovernmental institutions, aims to foster the transition from centrally planned to market economies in central and eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
