Parliamentary observers point to electoral violations

PanARMENIAN.Net - Violations and inaccuracies occurred during the May 6 parliamentary voting in some polling stations, The Choice is Yours NGO spokesperson Hasmik Sargsyan said on May 8.

According to her, violations mostly referred to vanishing ink marks in the passports, propaganda organized outside the polling stations, as well as presence of people at the polling sites who were not supposed to be there.

“We voiced concerns with regard to various charity actions by candidate parties or their adjacent charity organizations, as well as inaccuracies of the electoral lists and specific cases of hindering the election propaganda,” Sargsyan told the journalists.

Though they see some progress in May 6 election process, the voting is still far from being perfect, she said.
