Nalbandian invites Salehi to visit Armenia in near future

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian invited his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi to pay a visit to Yerevan.

According to Fars News Agency, Minister Nalbandian made the remarks during a meeting with Salehi on the sidelines of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) ministerial meeting which started in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, on Wednesday, May 10, inviting the Iranian top diplomat to pay a visit to Armenia in the near future.

During the meeting, the Iranian Minister referred to historical ties between Iran and Armenia, and stressed that neighboring states should work together in a friendly atmosphere to avoid any misunderstanding, FNA says.
