Paper: ex-Mayor wants to become deputy PM?

PanARMENIAN.Net - Former Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglaryan has expressed willingness to assume a ministerial post in case he is jointly offered the position of deputy prime minister, according to Haykakan Zhamanak daily.

Though Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan is ready to appoint him as Transport Minister, he doesn’t see the ex-Mayor in the position of Deputy Prime Minister, the paper says.

In all probability, Deputy PM Armen Gevorgyan will replace Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan if he leaves his post, the paper says.
