Paper: Deputy Agriculture Minister warns of wheat price surge

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Haykakan Zhamanak paper, Deputy Agriculture Minister confirmed the tendency of wheat price surge in the international market over the threat of drought in some areas of Russia.

“The rise in wheat price in the international market will result in a similar tendency in Armenia. Concerns have already been voiced as to the risk of drought in Russia’s Stavropol Krai. However, nobody can say what will happen in the future,” the daily quoted Samvel Galstyan as saying.
