ARMENIAN PRIME MINISTER TO DISCUSS REALIZATION OF PROPERTY FOR DEBT AGREEMENT IN MOSCOW

PanARMENIAN.Net - July 12-15 Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margarian will pay an official visit to Moscow, Foreign Minister of Armenia Vardan Oskanian told journalists. In his words, a range of questions will be discussed in the Russian capital, including the realization of the Property for Debt bilateral agreement. It should be noted that on the basis of that document, shares of five Armenian enterprises - Mars factory, three Yerevan research institutes: those of Mathematical Machines, Automated Management Systems and Material Science, as well as the property of the Hrazdan thermoelectric power station - were conveyed to Russia to pay off Armenia's state debt to Russia, making $93 million. In V. Oskanian's words, "the full launching of the enterprises in question proceeds from the interests of both parties." Up to the time present the Russian party has not presented any specific programs for rehabilitation of those enterprises.
