Argentine envoy pledges to strengthen ties with Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - On June 1, Argentina’s ambassador to Armenia Diego Ernesto Alvarez Rivera handed in his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

Armenian leader underscored the contribution of Mr. Alvarez Rivera as the first resident ambassador in strengthening of relations between the two nations.

The two men highlighted the importance of friendly ties between the countries, despite the geographic distance, further discussing the significance of the Armenian community in Argentina in deepening of relations.

Discussion of cooperation in the framework of international organizations was also on meeting agenda.

The Argentine envoy said he will do the utmost to consolidate bilateral relations during his diplomatic mission.
