Clinton didn’t meet Prosperous Armenia leader, paper says

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Haykakan Zhamanak daily, as the spokesperson for the U.S Embassy in Armenia Taguhi Jahukyan told the paper, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton didn’t meet Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan during her visit to Yerevan.

Before Clinton’s visit the party members voiced confidence for the Secretary of State to meet their leader, whereas asked whether such meetings were held, Tsarukyan’s former spokesman Khachik Galstyan answered, “I can neither confirm, nor deny.”

It’s not ruled out that Prosperous Armenia head might have tried to arrange a meeting with Clinton, however his attempts probably failed, the paper says.
