President reiterates Armenia’s stance on Karabakh issue at EPP session![]() June 29, 2012 - 15:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President, the leader of Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Serzh Sargsyan participated in Brussels-hosted session of European People’s Party (EPP). In his speech, the President focused on developing ties between Armenia and EU, negotiations for expanding cooperation, as well as the program of reforms in Armenia. The President also briefed those gathered on Karabakh conflict settlement talks, expressing concern over recent Azeri attacks at contact line. The President reiterated Armenia’s position on Karabakh issue, stressing the country’s adherence to peaceful settlement of the conflict in OSCE Minsk Group format. President Sargsyan also thanked EPP members for their assistance in accepting RPA, Orinats Yerkir and Heritage parties into their ranks. The President expressed confidence for the parties’ affiliation with EPP to promote European integration in Armenia. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
