Whether we want it or not, the Armenian society doesn’t like losing politicians,” Stepan Safaryan told a news conference in Yerevan. “Armenian people may sympathize with a persecuted politician, however, it dislikes a losing one, with recent events proving any politician is given just one chance during the electoral period,” the oppositionist said. “I don’t believe ex-leader Levon Ter-Petrossian will once again be able to become a favorite at presidential race,” Safaryan said.
