TODAY ARMENIAN PRESIDENT ROBERT KOCHARIAN LEFT FOR ITALY ON FORMAL CALL

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenian President Robert Kocharian left for Italy on a formal call upon the invitation of Italian President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi. Within the framework of the visit meetings in the Senate, as well as with chairmen of the House of Representatives and the Prime Minister are planned. A memorandum on cooperation in development of small and medium business will be signed. In Vatican R. Kocharian will be received by Pope John Paul II and Cardinal Angelo Sodano. January 28 the Armenian delegation will visit Venice, where meetings with the Mayor and representatives of the Armenian community will be held. The delegation will return in Yerevan January 30.
